The Scarabeo Club

In October Twin Cities Italian will start the "Scarabeo" Club. Scarabeo is the Italian version of the popular American word game Scrabble invented in 1938 by the architect Alfred Mosher Butts. In Italy the board game was introduced in the mid 1950s by Aldo Pasetti and it became very popular.

This is a great game to improve your vocabulary while playing with other people, no matter your language level. You are going to be playing in a small group - up to four players per table. We'll meet once a month during Fall and Winter. Places are limited - register in advance by contacting us. The cost is $ 5.00.

We'll meet at the entrance of the South Lyndale Liquors and Market at 5516 Lyndale Ave S, Minneapolis.

First meeting: Friday, October 4 at 6:00 pm.
